The Limes is a gathering place for celebrating and promoting the creative arts in Yorkshire. For its owners Sarah and Johnny Pearson, The Limes is ‘the culmination of a dream – to create a beautiful environment where people can come together to learn about and explore all things creative, from art and gardening to food and wine’. There’ll be fizz, canapes and a raffle, in a pretty setting overlooking a wildflower meadow.

By train

Trains to Weeton from Harrogate are frequent and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Coming down the steps at Weeton station, bear left along Weeton Lane towards Weeton village. Bear right at the grass triangle (junction with Woodgate Lane) and continue until you see The Limes on your right. It’s about a 10 minute walk.

By taxi or Uber

A taxi from Harrogate is likely to cost about £18, Uber probably cheaper.

By car

You can park at The Limes. Go up the drive past the house and stable block on the right, you’ll see the studios ahead of you and find parking.

If driving from Harrogate and Harrogate bypass:

Take the A658 Harrogate road towards Leeds Bradford airport. Pass the second turn to North Rigton on the right, and as you approach Huby village take the first left down Woodgate Lane towards Weeton.

Go under the bridge past the Mill House and at the grass triangle, bear left. The Limes’ drive is on the right at the next sharp left bend in the road.

If driving from Pool:

Take the A658 towards Harrogate, go through Huby and as you leave the village take the right turn down Woodgate Lane towards Weeton (second available right turn).

If driving from Leeds/Harewood:

After the Harewood bridge that crosses the river Wharfe, follow the A61 towards Harrogate. After half a mile take the first left turn down Weeton Lane to Dunkeswick and Weeton. Follow the road for a couple of miles (narrow with high hedges) and you’ll enter Weeton village. Continue through the village past the green on the left and take the next right turn signposted Weeton Lane. Continue and on the next sharpish right hand bend you’ll see the Limes drive.
