We’re delighted to welcome Anna Whitehouse to the Mercer
Gallery. Anna is a sculptural ceramicist based in Harrogate. From
her studio in Starbeck, she creates ‘curious objects’ inspired by
nature and by scientific imagery and research. She also works to
commission and on large scale public projects in collaboration with
institutions and venues (you may have seen the display of 1300
blue ceramic poppies she orchestrated at Ripon’s Himalayan
Garden and Sculpture Park). Come along and hear about her
thoughtful process, and in particular her project ‘100 bottles in 100
days,’ an inspired marathon of making.
