We’re delighted to welcome Anna Whitehouse to the Mercer Gallery. Anna is a sculptural ceramicist based in Harrogate. From her studio in Starbeck, she creates ‘curious objects’ inspired by
nature and science. She also works to commission, and on large scale public projects in collaboration with organisations and venues.
She teaches ceramics to all ages (look out for the workshop she will run at the Mercer later in November – details coming soon). We hope you will join us to hear more about her thoughtful process, and in particular her project ‘100 bottles in 100 days,’ an inspired marathon of making.

Anna will be speaking with Gideon Fireman, Mercer Friends committee member and wordsmith. Gideon describes his years of experience in journalism and PR as ‘sustained by Wishbone Ash, cheese sandwiches, French football and Harrogate Town AFC’.
